There is quotation, behind every successful man is a woman and according to the 2001 Census, there were 496.4 million women in India, which constitute almost half of the population of our country. Now women are playing a greater role in every aspect of development, but such sorts of development are limited to a certain section of women and it is just a tiny drop of water in the sea. In the other side of coin the rural Indian women suffer from hunger and poverty in greater numbers and to a great degree than men. At the same time, it is women who bear the primary responsibility for actions needed to end hunger: education, nutrition, health and family income. Lok Jagriti Woman and Child Care a social wing of Lok Jagriti is committed for the resourceful development of rural women and child and conducting the following exclusive programme:

  • Set-up of vocational training institute in rural India
  • Awareness camp for social status of women in society
  • Awareness camp for the various development program supported by Government of India
  • Free distribution of cloths and other essential items in needed area
  • Setting – up of LOK JAGRITI WOMAN AND CHILD CARE homes
