Main object of social audit: Creating awareness, increasing efficacy and effectiveness of development programmes, scrutiny of various policy decisions, keeping in view priorities, rural poor people, duality of service, identification of requirement.
Advantage of social audit: Participatory local planning, reduction of corruption ,wastage ,encourage local democracy, community participation, promotes, collective decision, knowledge sharing of ground level., improve standard, Social audit is the gram Sabha, which has been given “ Watchdog ” power and responsibilities by the Panchayati Raj Acts.
Mindset of people : Even after 70 years of independence people do not understand the concept of Government for the people, of the people and by the people. Most of the people still think themselves as being ruled by the politicians, while politicians think that they are the rulers, due to this reason, common people do not get involved in the developmental activities.
Common people are not educated, they do not known their right, let alone get them enforced.

In Lok Jagriti Old Age Home, all kinds of free services are provided to the helpless old people. The organization makes arrangements for shelter, food and clothing for the elderly. Jamtha village of Gonda by Lok Jagriti Library organization which is the birthplace of Parashuram's Guru Jamadagni.
There is an ashram where the library is run by Jamdagni Trust and Lokjagruti. Legeazy International wing of Lok Jagruti Sanstha provides legal help and counseling to weak and destitute people and soldiers by the lawyers associated with the organization. Public Interest Litigation by Lok Jagriti
Filed in 2013 in which (FSSAI) banned Red Aloe Vera in the entire country which was harmful for health but was not banned in India, it was banned in many countries of the world. Secondly (FSSAI) ordered to close the private food laboratory and start the government laboratory. This (PIL) was filed by senior advocate Prashant Bhushan of Lok Jagriti.
